Karen Clark spent 20 years as a healthcare CIO and now provides independent technology consulting to organizations helping to align technology with their strategic goals. Prior to beginning her career at Somerset CPAs and Advisors, Karen R. Clark, CPHIMS, FHIMSS was the Chief Information Officer for OrthoTennessee.  She currentlyserveson the HIMSSNominatingCommittee, as a Healthcare Sector Chief for the FBI Infraguard alliance,and as a member of the Data Analytics & Benchmarking Council for the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE). Previously, Ms. Clark served as Chair of the HIMSS HIT User Experience Committee,the HIMSS Global Education Committee, severalCMS Technical Expert Panels, the HIMSS HIE Committee, and the AMGA CIO/CMIO Leadership Committee. She speaks nationally on the topics of healthcare payment reform and cyber security and is passionate about transforming the use of HealthIT to better serve patients and providers.

Matt serves as the Director of Systems Integration & Development for Illinois Bone & Joint Institute. His primary focus at IBJI is creating a modern, efficient operational platform through strategic decision-making, process improvement and creative design and development. He is passionate about technology and the impact it can have on the way IBJI delivers care to patients.  Matt joined IBJI in 2006 after graduating from Purdue University and has grown alongside the company ever since. He is a highly motivated and experienced leader with a high-level of project management and strategic planning experience.

Mike McWilliams, Chief Revenue Officer for Reliable IT,  has been in the technology industry for over 25 years.  Mike has served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Revenue Office for many companies. As Chief Revenue Officer for Reliable IT, he is responsible for the overall Sales and Marketing strategy of the company. He has served as a valuable resource to companies, assisting in everything impacting their IT from Y2K to the current COVID-19.  Mike’s wealth of knowledge from many experiences has been instrumental in the success of his clients.  Mike has been taking care of clients since 1995 as a Director of IT, VP of Business Development, VP of Sales, CEO, and finally as CRO for Reliable IT.  Mike has architected many solutions from the ground up including cloud and on-premise strategies.

Lance Goudzwaard
CxO Consultant  

Lance Goudzwaard, MSHA, FACMPE, serves as a CxO Consultant with Reliable IT. He has over 20 years of experience as a healthcare executive, nationally recognized speaker, and journal author. Lance’s expertise is focused in the areas of healthcare operations, financial management, ancillary program expansion, strategic planning and customer service program development. He has extensive experience leading multi-level project teams with roles that include:

  • Administrator for a hospital-owned 60-physician internal medicine practice,
  • CEO for a physician-owned 48-provider gastroenterology practice,
  • COO for a physician-owned 62-provider orthopedic practice.
  • COO for a physician/hospital system-owned 144-provider integrated delivery network.

Lance has served on the board of directors for the national Medical Group Management Association as chairman of the Western Region, and as president for Colorado MGMA. He is one of 950 fellows in the American College of Medical Practice Executives.

Ryan Leland
VP Of Clinical Operations

Ryan has 20 years of industry experience, including a complete understanding of clinical practice, new procedures and test, and the current dynamic that affects a physician’s and therapist’s ability to practice while also staying compliant with new government changes and rules.

Ryan began his career as a Corpsman enlisted in the United States Navy. He served with the United States Marines after successfully completing specialized training. The medical knowledge, skills, experience and accomplishments achieved during his service propelled his success in orthopedics following his Military career. His interest in Healthcare Information Technology began while in the military where he was the systems administrator for the 2nd Marine Airwing in addition to other primary responsibilities.

He recently spent 4 years working for NextGen Healthcare as the National Specialty Director for Orthopedics, Therapy, and Neurosciences expanding his knowledge and expertise in the industry as an Advisor to Healthcare Executives and Medical Directors in HIT, transition from FFS to VBM under MACRA/MIPS/AAPM, software solutions and development.

Ryan currently serves on the American Alliance of Orthopaedic Executives (AAOE) Industry Relations Advisory Board.
